Microwave Oven
Q : I accidentally ran my microwave oven without any food in it. Is it damaged?
A : Running the oven empty for a short time will not damage the oven.
However, it is not recommended.
Q : Can the oven be used with the glass tray or roller guide removed?
A : No. Both the glass tray and roller guide must always be used in the oven before cooking.
Q : Can I open the door when the oven is operating?
A :
The door can be opened anytime during the cooking operation. Then microwave energy will be
instantly switched off and the time setting will maintain until the door is closed and START is
touched.
Q : Why do I have moisture in my microwave oven after cooking?
A : The moisture on the side of your microwave oven is normal. It is caused by steam from cooking food
hitting the cool oven surface.
Q : Does microwave energy pass through the viewing screen in the door?
A : No. The metal screen bounces back the energy to the oven cavity. The holes are made to allow light
to pass through. They do not let microwave energy pass through.
Q : My microwave shuts down when cooking popcorn or
baked potatos
A : All of our models are
designed with Safety Thermal Cutoffs that will shut the unit down if the oven
cavity exceeds preset temperature. Once the unit cools it will automatically
reset. To prevent this from occurring cook all foods, including microwave
popcorn, in/on a microwave safe dish which will isolate heat away from the
thermal cutoffs.

| Q : Can I open the door when the oven is operating ?
| A : The door can be opened anytime during the cooking operation.
The oven will automatically stop cooking and the time setting
will maintain until the door is closed and the START PAD
is touched. |
| Q. What causes the oven interior light
and display to dim when using a Variable Power Level? |
| A : This is normal and indicates the oven is operating and cycling properly
| Q. Why does stream and/or vapor escpae around the door and mistere
droplets form on the inside of the oven door? |
| A : This is normal occurence - as food cooks, stream is given off.
| Q. What do the various beeps mean? |
A :Short beep = any pad is touched.
Three short beeps =
incorrect entry.
One long beep = oven plugged in.
Three long beeps = end of cooking (microwave will turn off).
Series of three short beeps = check food to see if turning or
rearranging is needed.

Refrigerator
Q : If the refrigerator seems too warm inside:
A :
- Check that the door has not been opened too frequently or for too long.
- Check that the interior circulation is not obstructed by having too many
goods stored. (The fridge is overloaded)
- Did you store anything hot, without first cooling it to room temperature?
- Is there sufficient clearance around all sides and above the fridge?
Q : If the fridge starts making any unusual noises:
A :
- Is it wobbling? Re-level it and check if it now operates normally.
- Have any objects fallen behind the fridge? If so, remove them and check if
operation is now normal.
- Are any containers inside the fridge vibrating or resonating? If so, rearrange
them then check to see if operation has returned to normal.

Freezer
Q : My chest freezer's lid does not seal tightly resulting in frost building up
along the top portion of the freezers:
A :
- To adjust the lid to improve the seal remove the hinge covers located at the
back of the unit. Loosen the hinge screws attaching the hinges to the freezers.
Press down firm on the lid to help seat it properly. Tighten the screws loosened

| Q : Lamp doesn’t light. Compressor doesn’t work. No “electric sound?can be heard.
Possible Cause : 1) Power failure 2) Burnt out fuse
3) Power cord not well connected. (Lamp is not used in MCWC16M.)
| Q. Compressor works. Condenser doesn’t feel hot. |
Possible Cause : 1) Blocked cooling system. 2) Leaked refrigerant.
| Q. Compressor works. Frost exists around joint between capillary and filter. |
Possible Cause : Blocked filter.
| Q. Condenser feels hot first and then cold (happens periodically). |
Possible Cause: Ice built up in the cooling system. |
| Q. Too hot condenser. |
Possible Cause : 1) Some air in cooling system. 2) Reduced refrigerant flow in condenser, evaporator or capillary. 3) Over charged refrigerant. |
| Q. Partially frosted evaporator. |
Possible Cause : Partially blocked or leaked cooling system. 2) Oil exists in evaporator. 3) Partially blocked capillary at the evaporator end. |
| Q. Too frequent on/off cycle of overload protector. |
Possible Cause : Under voltage. 2) Sort circuited compressor winding. 3) Stuck starter. 4) Too high pressure on high side or low side. 5) Changed set point of overload protector. 6) Temperature control returns to “on?too early (pressure not balanced). 7) Not sufficient oil in compressor. 8) Worse contacting of temperature control contacts. |

Wine Cooler (MCWC52M)
| Q : Wine cooler does not operate.
Possible Cause : Not plugged in.
The circuit breaker tripped or brown fuse.
The wine cooler temperature control is set at "Off"
| Q. WIne cooler is not cold enough. |
Possible Cause : Check to be sure the temperature control setting
is at "MAX"
| Q. Compressor turns on and off frequently |
Possible Cause : The room temperature is hotter than normal.
A large amount of contents has been added to the wine cooler.
The door is opened too often.
The door is not closed completely.
